I have some of these WAPs and they all have 8dbi high-gain antennas. I'm wondering if I need to tune the "power local cck/ofdm" to certain values to match the antenna gain to make it work the best. The radio is operating in b/g mode. Here is the current config of interface Dot11Radio0.

No. You don't have to configure the power setting. You can configure any power value you want, and the AP will compensate for the antenna gain to make sure that the TX power doesn't go over the FCC regulation.
