Hi

I am having problem with message notification cell-phone.

I have enable message notification in a UC520

When people call an extension and the call goes to Voicemail the person called is able to receive an e-mail as well a cell phone call. The problem appears when the person called tries to retrieve the voice mail messages

The called person hears a prompt asking for the ID. After type the ID the prompt appear again asking for the ID. So the customer is not able to get the message and the phone call is disconnected

Probably I am messing a CUE configuration

Hi There,

Just to make sure you are not getting the ID mixed up with the password right?

So when the Voice Response asks for the ID you are putting in the extension number registered to the VM box? It will then ask for password.

Hi have created a new username only for test  ---username=”pa”. I am using my cell phone to receive message notifications coming from “pa” mailbox

This username has the extension number 313

When a call to extension 313 is forward to VM I am able to receive a call from Cisco Unity express asking for ID  to retrieve the message

I put the ID which is the extension number 313 but after that got the same message.

One more detail. This new user has been configured using CLI so maybe I am missing something
