I need to connect a new site to our main site using a Cisco 1841 router and a Cisco 2611 router. Will this work? Will there be any problems. I know that I am going to need to purchase a WIC card for the Cisco 1841 router.
Leo is right that there is not enough information in your post to allow us to asses whether there are likely to be problems. In general an 1841 and a 2611 should connect with each other just fine. They both support a range of connection options, including serial interface options and Ethernet/FastEthernet. So the chances are that the connection will work fine. But we need to know details of how you plan to connect them to be able to really asses any potential problems.
