Hi,

Try this document, is the step reference of the CUE Editor.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/unity_exp/rel7_0/administrator/script/scripteditor.html

Also you can find anything related with the maintain and operate of the different CUE versions here:

Thanks - the docs didn't cover how to use the phone to record the wav. file... I am new to the CUE editor :-)

Do you mean record the .wav for the prompts?

For this you will need to record them from a computer for example.

Yes. I understand it can be recorded right from the system phone. Do you use any particular apps to record the .wav from a computer on the other hand?

Well I don't know if there is a way to record from the phone system, as far as I know this could not be posible, maybe someone else could tell us. I use Audacity (great software) to make the records. Also I use Switch Sound File Converter to convert to the right format the .wav files. If you use Switch Sound File Converter you will need to set the enconder options to this:

Format:  Law u CCITT

Attributes: 8,000 KHz , 8 bit, mono
