Would anyone realistically expect to see a Q-in-Q deployment in an enterprise environment?

I haven't seen one yet.
You will find a lot of EoMPLS and L2TPv3 but not Q-in-Q.
The problem with Q-in-Q is the backbone has to be L2 end-to-end. Not that scalable.

Did one in a midwest city over a provided sonet service.
It is a bit messy, and requires a fair amount of coordination with the carrier.

I believe Victor was looking for feedback on Non-ISP environments.
In NYC, we have a ton of Q-in-Q deployments with Verizon TLS.

Guess I misinterpreted what he meant by ISP (its early out here on the coast).
TLS or some other value added services would be about the only place you would need q in q.
I can't imagine "wanting" to do q in q...
