Unable to see published documents through WebVPN

Floor Planning by Intactix Release NotesFloor Planning by Intactix Release Notes

We are doing some testing to allow users to connect to the Web Portal via WebVPN.

When accessing the web server without the use of WebVPN it works as expected and the published documents display as normal but when we use WebVPN users login fine but are unable to see published documents.

Can you suggest what might be causing this problem?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Are the documents being pulled from a network share? As in when they view a published document they are just being redirected to \\Servername\Folder\Filename ?

Hi Ken,

The publishing is accomplished through a Cisco ASA  located centrallly and appropriately publish redundant store based documents through a VPN client using authentication (Cisco  actually uses the function 'reverse proxy).

However, we have 'problems viewing the menu' after we login.
http://2003jda/ikbweb/main.asp (ip: 128.68.0.99) (lo stesso che  accediamo dall'interno di cdt)">The links we have  published is as following: http://2003jda/ikbweb/main.asp (ip:  128.68.0.99) (which we can access internally)

http://2003jda/ikbweb/main.asp (ip: 128.68.0.99) (lo stesso che  accediamo dall'interno di cdt)">
But after we log in via internet "
https://cdt1.company.com" in the  form of authentication of a space planning user with a specific account the mask of choice and published documents do not appear.

Thank you in advance for your ccoperation.

Sorry Yonas, I am still a little confused. What menu are you having trouble viewing the asa clientless VPN menu or your internal web servers menu?

What happens when you put 2003jda/ikbweb/main.asp into the address bar provided by the WebVPN and click browse?

2003jda/ikbweb/main.asp can only be accessed internally. It is when we usee "https://cdt1.company.com" that it fails which is the address used to access externally. In regards to the menu I meant the Web Server menu.

Could the fact that we are using Ciso ASA reverse proxy playing part?

Please advise.

Yonas

I think I might still be a bit confused. Is https://cdt1.company.com used to access the WebVPN or the Web Server when you are outside your network.

If it is the webvpn do you get connected to the Webvpn successfully? Do you get a username and password request? If so what happens when you type 2003jda/ikbweb/main  into the Address bar provided by the WebVPN interface, NOT the Internet explorer address bar?

If it is the web server are you trying to access this through the Internet explorer after you establish the webVPN or are you trying to set this up to point directly to the internal Web Server without requiring authentication.

Sorry for all the questions, I just get the feeling that you might be misunderstanding how the WebVPN works. Please don't take any offense if a I am wrong.
