DTMF no longer recognized after HOLD

UCM 6.1.5 , call flow is UCM -> SIP -> ACME SBC -> Verizon Broadworks SIP -> PSTN

Call is made from SCCP phone to an IVR with prompts, DTMF works.  Put call on HOLD, then resume, now DTMF is no longer heard by IVR.

Verizon claims the ACK after HOLD has no SDP so IP=0.0.0.0 therefore no DTMF.   I think I see UCM SDP go out with IP and with network-element for DTMF, but not sure.   What could cause this problem with DTMF after resuming call ?

Hi Mark,

It sounds like this bug may have crept back into your version. I would open

a TAC case;

CSCsj99543 Bug Details Bug #14 of 48 | < Previous | Next >

RFC2833 DTMF Relay Breaks after hold/resume on SCCP phone to SIP Gateway
Symptom:

Unable to send DTMF using RFC2833 out a SIP Trunk.

Conditions:

Occurs when calling from a SCCP phone out a SIP trunk. DTMF works when the call
is established, however if the call is held and resumed, DTMF will no longer work for
the duration of that call.

Workaround:
