Has anyone had experience with an issue similar to this:
We recently installed a new UC560 system with 2 of the ESW switches, 8 of the 541 access points, around 30 of the 525G phones, 1 7965, and 20 7925 wireless phones. The issue is with the voice quality on the 525G phones. I have found numerous references to the voice quality issues on these phones through the Cisco forums that all direct you to upgrade the firmware on the phones to 7.4.4 (which is the latest release) and this has been done. The voice quality, however, remains very muffled and hollow sounding. This is not an issue on the 7965 phone, nor on the 7925 wireless phones, only the 525’s.
Thanks in advance!

Something to check for, which I know was in 7.4.4 for the SPA50x and
uncertain if on the SPA525, but will check in the lab later today, is
the Deep Base Audio toggle (on/off). Try turning it off if it appears
on the phone GUI (browser to the IP address of the phone 10.1.1.x).
If that option is present it may help a little as it clips low
frequency audio).

My apologies, Deep Base Audio is not available on SPA525G, but in fact SW 7.4.4 did correct all the sound issues we had seen in the past.

It will be in upcoming 7.4.6
I can unicast you the firmware for testing.
7.4.6 is currently Scheduled to be available by next week.
