Hi team,

As per my requirment I need to translate one DID number to analog.

From Debug isdn I found ISP sending last 4 digits to router.. Here I need to forward this particular number xxxx to one analog number yyyyyyyy.

!
voice translation-rule 29
rule 1 /^9998/ /026797961/

voice translation-profile fax
--More--                            translate called 29

I can see it is translating.

UR-CCME#test voice translation-rule 29 9998
Matched with rule 1
Original number: 9998 Translated number: 026797961
Original number type: none Translated number type: none
Original number plan: none Translated number plan: none

I want to know where I need to apply this profile. I already have one translation profile applied in incoming and outgoing .do i can apply multiple profiles ?

Also do i need to use calling /called translation in my case.

Best Regards,

Febin S

Hello,

I want to know where I need to apply this profile. I already have one translation profile applied in incoming and outgoing .do i can apply multiple profiles ?

You can apply translation profiles to dial peers, voice ports, trunk groups or all VoIP calls globally. Dial peer, voice ports and trunk groups can have one incoming and one outgoing translation profile. If you already have a translation profile applied, you can add your new rule to its existing voice translation rule set. If the voice translation rule set can't add more rules, then you can workaround using num exp.

Also do i need to use calling /called translation in my case.

In that case, you need a rule to manipulate the called number only, like you already did.

Hope it helps, please rate if it helps.

Kind regards,

- Adrian.
