Issues with the Wireless setup of the WVC210 camera

Unanswered Question

I recently purchased the WVC210 Wireless camera.  I have an SMC router (model #SMC8014WG).  I am able to get it up and working on the Ethernet connection.  I entered in the SSID and WEP for my local network as the instructions said and then power cycled the camera with the Ethernet cable disconnected.  The Wireless led on the camera lit up to show that it was connected on the wireless.  However, when I go to the URL to view the camera stream (the IP address that showed the camera strean via the Ethernet connection), it doesn't come up.  Do I need to go to a different IP/URL to view the stream on the wireless?  How do I find out which IP address is being used?

Any suggestions would be great.  Thanks.

I have this problem too.

There is the chance the router DHCP IP address assigned to this wifi

MAC changed.

If you have any intentions of viewing this camera from a web browser

or SWVMS16, locally or remotely, best practice is to slap a static IP

on it.

This way you always know where to find it. Plug it back in if you

can't see leased IPs and Macs on your router and make it static, then

wireless.

The mode of operation (wired or wireless) isn't different for camera

viewing.
