I have a cisco 4507 swich,which i bootup and i see that after booting, 
the module of he supervisor engine light turn amber,while the other 
module ture green.I want to know the implication of that.Seconding,i 
notices that he does not accept ping,And sometime it select the address 
which its ping.

The status LED on the Supervisor Engine indicates whether the Supervisor Engine has passed all diagnostic tests. The Supervisor Engine contains the system operating software. Check the Supervisor Engine if you have trouble with the system software. Have a console session open and determine whether the Supervisor Engine is in boot or ROM monitor (ROMmon) mode. If the switch is stuck in boot or ROMmon mode.
