CUCM 8 Questions

I am going to upgrade to CUCM 8 very soon.  I have a few questions for the community.

  • When upgrading from 6.1.2 to 8 are there any issues to look out for?  It looks like it should be no problem.
  • Does it still support the 7960G phones with SCCP?
  • It says that version 8 supports caller ID with MGCP and FXO.  What is the process of converting an H323 gateway to MGCP?

AC is dropped so if you're using it plan accordingly by either also dropping it or look into the CUxAC suite that is the replacement.

This should give you the basics, make sure you have read the pre-requisites for caller ID MGCP with FXO.
