Hello,

I am trying to access my Csico ASA 5500 and when I log in I keep getting these update messages. I have tried "undebug all", "terminal no monitor" and still the messages appear.  Any insight into this would be much appreciated.

no logging console

HTH,

jerry

Nice - worked like a charm.

Thanks.

Question, is this an ASA5500 command or will it work on other routers? Why the differences on the IOSs ,or is there none? Just curious.

Jeffrey

It happens that no logging console is also a valid command on routers and IOS switches (and has the same effect). The OS of the ASA is quite different from IOS (it is a box built for a very different purpose) and many commands use somewhat different syntax. But there are some that are exactly the same on ASA and in IOS.

Hello,

Please try "no logging console".

Hope to help.
