Due a wrench thrown into our planning, we maybe force to run our 7 voice pri from demarc within the building to about 150meters. Per specs that I found, PRI maximum is 200meters. Has anyone ran their PRI around 150meters from demarc and what are your comments. The pri will go into a voip mgcp router with Callmanager 7.x

Thx

It should be no problem assuming your cable infrastructure is decent with no bridgetaps or electrical interference, etc.

There is a command to adjust cable length from NIU:

Router(config-if)# service-module t1 cablelength short {110ft |220ft |330ft |440ft | 550ft |660ft}

Also consider service-module t1 lbo command.  The rule for T1 extension is no more than 660ft and no more then -15db loss.
