I am trying to play with my lab and this one has me stumpted. I do not know if I need to set up RIP or not becuse of the linksys (its a wrt54gs btw) and I heard linksys only uses RIP. Not sure which version either.

If I configure a static IP address on the laptop, it wants me to configure DNS servers as well and I am not sure if I just put the ones that my ISP gave me in there or what.

I think I would have to enable DHCP on router1 but still not sure how it would see the DNS. Also I need some help with NAT or PAT commands and no one ever explains what the loopback is for (simulated cloud?). I think I would like to use PAT so I can plug router 2 into my other 2950 switch.

The IP address are just a formality but I would like to keep the linksys on the 192.168.1.0/24 network

I have this problem too.
