CVP CallStudio, using Web Service on CallEnd

Answered Question
Jul 21st, 2010

Hello,

I have a situation  where I need to call a Web service  to terminate a session when the call end. I'm thinking creating a Java  Class and use the CallEndAPI but I need to call the web service inside  that class. Can I do this using the WebService Element?

Thanks

RH

I have this problem too.

You need to call a web service when a call is terminated?

You can write a custom classes to be called during "Call End". This custom class can be built with apache axis etc..

You can't use the Web Service element in an end class - you have to follow the template.

You can write Java code in your custom end class to do anything within reason. We've used it to write information in a SQL database. You can call a web service.

I have written custom classes to call Web services using Apache HttpClient and JAXB (Java XML Binding) as the parser, but if your Web service is SOAP, then cndilip123's recommendation of Apache Axis is good one. I think I need to look at that.
