Disabling Live-Record tones on UC540

Is there any way in the CUE CLI to disable the tones when using Live Record?  I am currently running Unity Express 7.03. In CUE CLI I found these command choices but I am unsure of how to apply them:

voicemail live-record beep duration and voicemail live-record beep interval

The goal is to not have any tone played.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Mike

Can't be done. Cue GUI can be used to disable periodic beeps, but

initial beeps can't be eliminated.

In 38 states in the US, the party being recorded must be informed, but

I agree it would be nice to have it as an option. This input has been

given to the CME team several times, but there is no change planned.

So to disable the tones during the call, not the initial tones what would that be?

Would like to disable the periodic tones used by LiveRecord...

Thanks

This feature is planned for CCA 3.0 (targeted December 2010).

So any idea what code to right now to have this work?

It may be worth a shot looking in the CUE GUI (web browser to 10.1.10.1),

And look for an option to uncheck periodic beeps. I have seen it there.

Is there an update on this, was it released in version 3?

Thanks,

Bob James

Hi Bob,

I have just recently used CCA to configure a UC-560 and UC-540 and in both situations I was able to turn of the periodic tones during the setup process. However what I have not tried yet is changing this setting after it has been setup so I cannot verify if this can be done just yet.

Cheers,

David.

Yes, it's in CCA 3.0. It's under Conference configuration GUI.
