Hi,
Please help me.
I have CUCM and voice gateway VG224.
The communication protocol between CUCM si VG224 is MGCP.
Yesterday I find that one port don’t have dial tone.
Incomming and outgoing calls is not possible on that port.
Until yesterday this port function properly.
I reload the VG224 but the problem is not solved.
It’s possible to have a bad port or it’s a bug?
IOS version on VG224 : vg224-i6s-mz.124-9.T7.bin
Does anyone have an idea about how to solve this problem.

First thing to check is to make sure that the FXS port lists as registered in the CUCM endpoint page.
You also want to watch 'debug voip ccapi inout' as you go offhook and make sure you are matching a dial-peer that have 'service mgcapp' configured on it for the inbound dial-peer match.
If those two things are correct, you should get dial-tone. If you aren't, you either have something funny in CM like a null translation that is PLARing the port, a bad port, or a cabling issue.
You can watch 'debug vpm sig' to see what is happening on the analog port side.

Hi Steven,
This port (2/16) is registered on CUCM and is working well until few days ago.The phone attached in this port not have dial tone and not ringing.
I attached the port status and debug messages for incomming calls.

The CCAPI debugs are not complete; we should see an inbound dial-peer match at the top for this call. I only see the outbound match, so something got truncated.
Also, you typically always want to run debugs together when troubleshooting voice issues, so you can see how the stacks inter-relate to each other.
Having a current router configuration would help. Since this is MGCP, I'd probably take a look at what 'debug mgcp packet' is doing in addition to the CCAPI and VPM debugs.
Finally, do you have other ports on this device which are working? If so, you can run the debugs for a good port and compare it to a bad port, to find your deviation.
