VPN Windows 7 64bit Connection error

Hi all,

I'm getting a VPN connection error "Secure VPN Connection terminated by Perr. Reason 433: (Reason Not Specified
by Peer)" occasionally on one of my end users laptops.  He has a Toshiba 64-bit Windows 7 machine.  We have 2 ASA 5500 firewalls (one as a failover).  The VPN Client is version

When I say occasionally, sometimes the VPN client actually makes its connection and appears to work fine.  When the computer is restarted and we try to connect VPN again, it sometimes won't connect at all and give us that error.  I have yet to see a pattern of when it will connect and when it won't connect.

Any thoughts?

I have this problem too.

reason 433 is very generic i would suggest you enable debugging on both client and asa so that we can dig more

also could you please paste the configuration of your asa

one last thing when you are unable to connect via vpn are you able to reach the firewall, i mean are you able to ping the outside ip of the firewall (please verify first that you are allowed to ping the outside ip of the firewall)
