Hello,

Wondering whether it is possible to have copper and fiber as part of the same port-channel group?

Thanks

Hello,

Yes, you can mix copper and fiber ports together, as long as they are all in the same speed and duplex.

Reza,

Thanks for the quick reaction.

Do you have a link that I can use in my presentation to support that?

Leo,

I guess as long as my copper ports are gig, I should be fine!!!

Yes, it is fine. Copper of fiber same speed works fine.

They need to be of the same color too.

Hi

EtherChannel technology is not dependent on any  type of media—it can be used with Ethernet running on existing  unshielded twisted pair (UTP) wiring, or single-mode and multimode  fiber.

the logical duplex and seep is to be identical in the channel.
