CUPS client sending chat message give error

Hi Guys,

I have CUPS server ver 7.0.2 integrated with CCM ver 7.1.3 & Microsoft AD.

I can chatt send message to other contacts but some time intermitanty  I get the error while chatting

: " Did not receive your message Because it could not be delivered.

what could be the issue.

The first thing to check is if the contact is really online still. It is possible that they disconnected from the network (e.g. closed the laptop) and CUPS has not timed out their connection yet. Assuming that is not the case the next thing to look for is a firewall in the path that has blocked the SIP packet. The CUPS server relays the SIP MESSAGE packet to the other user. I would suggest starting with a packet sniffer on the CUPS server to see what happens with the relayed message it is sending toward the receipient.

All the port mentioned in the release notes for cups ver7.0 has been opened in the firewall, still the issue.
