Filter CLID and DN in the same node?

Unanswered Question

Is there a way to put a formula to filter CLID and Dialed Number in the same node?

I can do that with 2 nodes, CLID node and IF node with Call.DialedNumberString variable.

Is there a formula to accomplish both in the one node?

I have this problem too.

Using an IF node you can use the following....

If you were looking for an either/or condition it would be the following...

Thanks for the reply, I forgot to mention there are 6 entries in the CLID node and they are prefixes, not 10 digits.

You can make the CLID node act like a switch/case statement in programming. Just change it to "Use Expression" in the Variable tab.

Now you need to set up a formula which returns a value. You COULD make this work with some thought - convert the area code substring(s,1,3) into a number, and convert the DNIS into a number and add them together - does this give you six unique numbers?

If so, you can use these as the values in the switch (CLID).

This is pretty opaque though. People who come to look at your script later may not follow it.
