Hi,
I hope someone can help me. I have a Problem with the Device Fault Manager 3.2.0 on a Windows standard 2008 SP2 (32 bit) Server. I can't create Notification Groups, the failure is "There are no devices in the system (in Known state). I see on the Device Management Page in the Discovery Status list that the System has 44 Devices with Status "Known"
In the DFMOGServer log it has entries like this one:
26/Jul/2010 16:28:08:192 ERROR main com.cisco.nm.xms.ogs.sharedgroups.SharedGroupManager syncFromSource - Error processing group: /Campus@XXXX. Reason: Group: /Campus@XXXX already exists
Has anyone the same Problem or found a solution?
thanks
Oliver

Typically, this kind of problem can be fixed by dropping all of the DFM group tables in the cmf database. This procedure involves direct database access, so you should contact TAC to work with them to make sure nothing gets damaged.
