7942 firmware upgrade on CME 4.1

Hi All,

I would like to upgrade 7942 phones to 8.4.4 firmware. But it doesn't work.

I uploaded all files from cmterm-7942_7962-sccp.8-4-4 after a did the following:

load 7942 SCCP42.8-4-4S

But nothing happend when I reset phone.

please help me

Hi Peter,

Did you do Step#5 below?

SUMMARY STEPS

1. enable

2. configure terminal

3. telephony-service

4. load phone-type firmware-file

5. create cnf

6. end

Yes I Did.

But phones cant see firmware.

Hi Rob!

The problem is that i did a hardreset on the phone but it cant boot without tnp42.8-3-1-21a.bin file

How can i upload this to phone?
