I thought I'd run this subject up the flagpole again to see if anything has changed since the last time this was asked in the forum. Is there a SSL L2L VPN solution or plans to create one for Routers or ASAs? The forum entry from 2009 says SSL is too slow/CPU intensive for this but I have a hard believing that a L2L is any more intensive than a remote client, especially when it would be one L2L as opposed to several AnyConnect clients. I would think if routers can do IPSEC EZ-VPN client configurations, they should be able to accomplish SSL as well? SSL would be so nice as it would tunnel through other firewalls easier than IPSEC in a lot of cases .

Unfortunately there is still no SSL Lan-to-Lan VPN solution available. The only SSL VPN available is remote SSL VPN connection (software only).

How about 7 years later?
Surly there is business here?
Or the fact that an IPS could view into it and see that its not web type traffic.
