I have a cisco 2900 series router and I have a T1 connection and 2 dsl connections. In order for me to redirect FTP traffic, should I include an access list with FTP and FTP-Data? Is there anything specific that I need to do to route both the ftp connection and the data connection depending on where it's going?
Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide me.

If you want to redirect FTP traffic then what you need is Policy Based Routing. With PBR you create an access list that identifies the FTP traffic, and it would want to include both the control connection and the data connection. Then you configure a route map that would use the access list to match the FTP traffic and to set the next hop for the FTP traffic. Then you use the route map on the interface of the router on which the FTP traffic arrives.

Thanks. That's just what I needed. I had PBR setup, I just wasn't sure if I needed the protocol ftp-data.
