SRP527W - Can I add an access point to this device?

Hi All

I received the above router to replace my aging (and faulty) WAG54GP2.  My naked DSL connection requires me to use a VOIP router and the SRP527W is the recommended device by my ISP.

Anyway...

I want to extend the wireless broadcast range so I can service the wider area of my home and office (which is next door, about 30 metres away).  What are my options?  I assume I can add an AP or router to achieve this?

I would appreciate any recommendations of which device I should purchase.

Thanks for your help.

Shane

Hi Shane,

Sure, you can add another AP to the SPR LAN environment.

Please note that this will act autonomously from the integrated AP in the SRP.  Also note that if you are planning to use an AP541, the SRP integrated AP cannot form part of an AP cluster.

Hope that helps,

Andy
