Media Resource - Registration Reject

Hi guys,

I have an implementation of CallManager (version 6.1.2) and gateway 3845 (IOS 12.4.24T2).

I have configured conferencing, transcoding and MTP-RSVP resources in the gateway (config attached).

When I set the "sccp ccm <IP CM> identifier 1" without the option "version" (default 3.1), transcoding and conference resources registering ok, but not MTP-RSVP.

When I set the "sccp ccm <IP CM> identifier 1" with the option "version" = 6, transcoding and conference resources not registering (Media Resource configuration in CallManager as Cisco IOS or Cisco IOS Advanced), but MTP-RSVP working ok.

Suggestions?

I would suggest starting with version 6 if your CUCM is version 6 and troubleshooting why the CFB and Transcoder will not register. Most likely you are specifying the incorrect device type in CUCM.
