We are going to be upgrading our UCS environment (adding more blades and changing out Mezz cards) and upgrading our SAN.
My question is this. Using the Palo adapter is there any recommended SAN and what should we try to avoid.

All politics/joint ventures/alliances aside, Palo should work with any SAN that can handle NPIV. While I am not a storage guy, NPIV is usually a function of your SAN switch gear. The two major players (Brocade and Cisco) support NPIV throughout their SAN switch product lines.
We are using Palo with Cisco MDS switches and HP EVA storage arrays.

Thanks for the response Adam.
We are currently running the Q-Logic adapters and Cisco MDSs as well and we plan to keep the MDSs.
Thanks again.
