HSRP on 4507

Hi,

I have a question regarding HSRP on a 4507.  I am working with a small private school who is replacing their old core of 2 3550's with a new 4507 with dual sup's.  How do you handle HSRP on a single chassis?  Or can you?    With the 3550's they had an etherchannel between them and then were doing HSRP with each other.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Jeff

You don't run HSRP on a single chassis. Your active supervisor will have the correct IP under each vlan interface ie. what was the VIP in your old setup and the config i syncd to the 2nd sup so if the active sup fails then the standby sup takes over with the same IP.
