Solved: nodemgr: The cifsao service has been disabled.

Hello

The CIFS AO service automaticallz shutdown after a few minutes. .

I get this message a few times> Policy Engine: (pe_accl_ka_timer_handler) CIFS (3) accelerator state changed fro
m REGISTERED to TIMEDOUT.

and the the CIFS service is disabled.

The other services are working fine

Any idea ?

Hi,

telnet or ssh to the device.

Change directory

cd errorlog

look at the error log to see if you can find the problem.

type cifsao-errorlog.current

Hi Jan

Nothing usable in the cifsao-errorlog.current file, neither in different log files

I tried unsuccsfuly as well to deregister and register cms.

Gonna open a ticket with TAC.

Problem fixed: The database was corrupted and a restore fixed the issue.

a restore is done by running the command "disk delete-data-partition diskname", which deletes and clears all data partitions (DRE, CIFS, PRINT and VB).

Then reload the WAE.
