We have an office that uses another offices voice gateway for SRST. I am testing the failover to SRST by null routing the current call managers at our Chicago site. The phones in our Chicago office should then use the SRST function out of our SanFran voice gateway. Our Chicago phones are set up as SanFran phones. My issue is that once I null route, I can see the phones re-registering to voice gateway in SanFran (instead of our normal call managers), but I get no dial tone. Also, no extension shows on the phones. It does say on the phone that the phone is using SRST (forget the exact message).
My question is, does the voice gateway itself have to lose connectivity to the call managers for SRST to work? Is there anything else that I can look at? I know this works since we have failed our SanFran phones before, but we failed the connectivity to our other Call Managers. Thanks in advance.
