Hi Guys,
A customer has requested for distribution of calls to multiple remote destinations, the remote destinations should ring in a hunting pattern, not all at once. here is the catch, if the call is forwarded to voice mail (immediately or after a couple of rings) the system should to be able to recognize and ignore it or ring the next remote destination. note that such a system will be used for emergency scenarios, so its critical that it works flawlessly. Can this be achieved somehow with Cisco's Unified Mobility feature in UCM or does anyone know of any application that can help achieve this ?
Thanks;
Radhesh

Radesh,
Assuming by remote destinations you mean off-net calls, this can be achieved using the Mobility feature. Just have to create a hunt group with multiple extensions in it, set the hunting algorithm to Broadcast and enable mobility on these extensions.
Thanks

You set the timers for how long to try a remote device, you need to adjust them to a few seconds before you reach VM.

Hi,
Thanks, will try it out. but don't think this system will be 100% reliable, as some users might send calls on their to voicemail at different time intervals.
Appreciate the assistance, do let me know if there is such an application, that can detect the diffference between voicemail and a user picking up the call.
Thanks,
Radhesh
