Hi there,
there is no reload or reboot command on the 61000 (in CLI) ?!? I'll also appreciate answer how to do it from GUI. Another similar question, obviously from a newbie, is related to missing "write" commad: does it mean that every accepted command is automatically written in NVRAM?

Tenaro

Tenaro,
You certainly can reboot an FI from the CLI.
From the UCSM CLI:
connect local-management
reboot
Also, when making changes to UCSM from the CLI you may noticed that your prompt will add an astericks "*" to the end. This means you have commands awaiting to be committed to the system. If you wish to "save" / "commit" your changes you just enter:
commit-buffer
or
discard-buffer
Ex.
UCS-A# scope service-profile server 2/2
UCS-A /org/service-profile # scope boot-definition
UCS-A /org/service-profile # create boot-definition
UCS-A /org/service-profile/boot-definition* # commit-buffer
Regards,
Robert
