Dear All,

I have MARS device which suddenly couldn't be reached through network and couldn't collect events.

when i checked its console through Video , i found alot of faults and at the last line i found this message:

Fatal Exception:panic in 5 seconds

"Kernet panic - not syncing : Fatal Exception"

attached is a picture for the rest of the messages.

Can anyone tell me about this as this is not a normal behavior.

Thanks in Advance,

Ayman Yehia

Hi Ayma,

This is a rare condition usually seen when the system fails the memory and file system checks. If you reboot it; it should relieve this condition for the time being as more fs checks are done at startup. Depending on your software version, you maybe running into a software bug as there are several bugs with similar symptoms in versions older than 6.0.7. If you haven't already done so, please upgrade your Mars appliance to the latest 6.0.7.

Potential Bug:

----------------------

CSCsm40349

Rare crashing issue due to file system check/memory short

Resolved in 6.0.7.

Please refer to the bug toolkit for more information regarding this bug:
