Hi gang,
I did my CCNA back in 2000 and it was CCNA 2.0 and my score was 90% plus. I've taking Cisco firewall hands classes and so on. As the time went to I couldn't continue to retain the job in Cisco platform and moved towards Microsoft Windows Server family.
Now I need to be in a position where I can manage the cisco switches easily. Do I need t buy any switches for this or I can do it using a simulator. And what about the practice material. I'm not looking for any theory stuff. I just need hands on to get started.
thanks in advance.

Hi Adnan,
The practising for the CCNA can be done through GNS3 but it gives you a switch console with switch modules only.
Please go through the web site for the same:

Hi Adnan,
You would have to download the images as they do not come by default and the best part is that they give you a real time console session.

To study CCNA, it would be easier to use packet tracer than GN3.
