Hi,
I have a Cisco Router 4000 running in my network form 5 years, since 2 weeks ago it started to give me problems, when I come to my office and I try to telnet the router I get the following error:
telnet: connect to address x.x.x.x: Connection refused
telnet: Unable to connect to remote host
After rebooted the router I can login again and when i want to exit the session I use the logout command. I ensure before to leave the office the router is reachable by telnet but when I arrive to the office the next day and I try to telnet the router I get the same error again:
telnet: connect to address x.x.x.x: Connection refused
telnet: Unable to connect to remote host
Someone have any idea about this problem?
Thanks a lot for you help

Hi Jairo,
Please upgrade the IOS installed if you are not upgraded from last couple of year and check all the bugs and clear counters.
Check of telnet configuration and port number configured for telnet.
Please let me know if you are getting any problem.
