Hi,
We already have a couple of WS-C3750-48PS-S stacked together on our LAN. Would it be possible to add WS-C3750V2-48PS-S to the stack without encountering any issues. I intend to use the same IOS version and feature sets.
Thanks

Hello,
You can certainly add another switch to the stack without any issues. Please
follow the proper procedure while adding the new switch to the stack.
-- Turn off the new switch
-- Make appropriate connections
-- Turn on the new switch
That should address this issue.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
NT

Hello Frank,
Yes it would be possible :
Cisco StackWise technology unites up to nine individual switches in a single logical unit, using special stack-interconnect cables and stacking software. The individual switches can be any combination of Cisco Catalyst 3750, 3750 v2, and 3750-E Series Switches.
( => http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/prod/collateral/switches/ps5718/ps5023/data_sheet_c78-531031.html)
There should be no problem as longer as we follow the general conditions and restrictions of managing stacking =>
I think also we have to be careful of this bug imacting some recent IOS releases (12.2(53)SE2 .....):
Hope it helps.
Kind regards
Karim
