Hi all,
I wonder if someone could kindly recommend a tool that can be used to extract data from CDR's, that shows if calls were transferred, put into conference mode, parked then picked up, by who etc.
I've looked at the default reports in CAR services, in CCM6.x that the client is using, but the reports don't seem to meet their requirements.
Many Thanks
Ali

CDR is usually used for billing purpose.
What you were asking would be in "Cisco CallManager" traces other than CDR files.
You may use tools like TripleCombo or Cisco VLT to parse the logs. But it might not generate the format you want.

Thanks very much for your reply Michael.
I've tried VLT but it produces far too much detail for the clients' needs.
I'll take a look at Triple Combo, although initially it looks similar to VLT.
Thanks again

Hi Ali, You can export the CDR files and manipulate anyway you want. Take a look on this doc which explains the content of column and also explains the different call flows: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucmbe/service/6_0_1/car/carcdrdef.html#wpxref69753 I hope this help. Marcos

3rd party billing applications such as ISI Infortel and MindCTI can provide much of this information from CDR records. The integration with CM varies a bit version.
There is good discussion by other customers on CDR reporting vendors located here:

Thanks very much for your input guys. I'll take a look at all the products mentioned and run them past the client once I've played around a bit.
Many Thanks
Ali
