42 Buttons Limitations on CUCM 6.1.5.10000-10

We cannot utilize all the buttons on the Sidecars (7915 & 7916) to their maximum capacity due to the 42 buttons limitation on Callmanager.

We are using 7962.

IS this something that can be fixed by installing a device pack/patch?

If not, does anyone know the earliest CUCM version on which it is fixed ?

On CUCM 7.1.2, i found that it supports 54 buttons for 7962.

Based on the release notes it appears that it was a limitation on SCCP through version 7.0(2a): http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/rel_notes/7_0_2/cucm-rel_notes-702a.html#wp581689

Starting in 7.1(2) this statement is absent from the release notes which suggests that the SCCP protocol was updated to support the 56 buttons possible.

This cannot be changed by any DevPak install/upgrade
