How does fire extinguisher material affect a cisco router?

Unanswered Question

I have an oddball disaster-type situation where a fire extinguisher of type dry powder (ABC) was sprayed around a lot of Cisco gear in a server room. Could this material be corrosive to the circuit boards or would it just be dirty from the material?

I have this problem too.

Computer rooms are expected to have specialized extingushers because ABC material (usually Ammonium Phosphate) can be corrosive to electronics.

You would need to get a professional inspect to determine if these is damage to the electronics.  Your insurance agent might be able to recommend someone.
