Greetings,
(Cisco IOS Software, C2960 Software (C2960-LANBASEK9-M), Version 12.2(44)SE6)
I'm attempting to configure the IP address on int VLAN1 to 192.168.3.0 255.255.255.0 and keep getting:
Bad mask /24 for address 192.168.3.0
I've even tried adding "ip subnet-zero" to the config. but it doesn't make any difference.
It will accept other addresses: example: 172.18.1.1 255.255.255.0 works fine.
Thanks.

192.168.3.0 is the network number. You can't use that. You can use 192.168.3.1 -> 192.168.3.254 with 192.168.3.255 being the broadcast address.
