Hi,

Does CUPS Can be clustered ?

I have a Centralised design with cluster over WAN.

I want to know if it is possible to cluster a CUPS.

For example : There are two main sites, the first CUP server in 1st site, and the second CUPS in the second site.

I want that CCM manage the presence of users, if they users are near the 1st CUPS, they log in to the 1st CUPS

Otherwise if they are near the second CUPS, they log automaticaly in the second ups.

The cups server name in the CUPC doesn't change.

Is it possible ?

Best regards

Antra

Yes, this is a standard feature from CUPS 7.x.

8.0 supports multi-node but does not support HA (auto failover).
