OSPF Stub Area setup

I'm setting up a stub area with 2 routers over a switch. I'm having a  problem with getting the adjacency through the switch, but I get it if I  use a crossover cable.

Besides the ports being active on the switch is there any other configuration that I need? i.e. a VLAN?

Thanks

Hello,

Please make sure that both ports where you have connected the routers are on

the same VLAN (same broadcast domain). Also, make sure that the switch

supports multicast traffic.

Hope this helps.
