Cisco Secure Agent is blocking Virusscan auto update task

I am using standalone CSA 3.0(2) on a unity server 4.X (Windows 2k platform) and we recently installed McAfee Virusscan Enterprise 8.5 on the server.

The Anti virus is working well but the autoupdate task is blocked by CSA agent.

Is there any way to counter this or to define an execption so that CSA accept the update task to run?

You can't edit the default rule set that comes with the standalone CSA variants.

What you can do is make sure you are running the latest version that's available (3.0.2 is several years old) - generally McAfee is on the list of 'supported' AV solutions, so if the newer versions of CSA interfere with it your only remaining option would be to open a TAC case and try and get them to fix up the rules.
