i have two sites connected using two redundant WAN connections, and i am going to configure two VPN tunnels as a redundant tunnels.

my question is how to configure two VPN tunnels between the two sites, so that when the first tunnel goes down the second WAN connection becomes up and tunnel as will.

-the two sites connected using routers.

There are many options here. Is it feasible for you to build both tunnels and have a routing protocol run across them? Here's an excellent resource on building redundant VPN's.

Hope it helps.

Hi ,

If it is site-to-site VPN, just need two "set peer x.x.x.x" command.. the first one is the primary site, and second one is the back up site peer address. once the first one goes down, it will switch to 2nd site.
