Help entering Rommon on 3700 series

We have a 3750 switch and can't enter rommon. The password recovery functionality is enabled, and we tried connecting with hyperterminal on both a Dell Inspiron laptop and also tried a Dell 2970 running Windows Server 2003.

After bootup starts, we tried Control + C, Control + Break and tried the Break key by itself, but the switch continues to boot into the OS.

Any suggestions here as to what we might be overlooking?

Hi ,

On 3750 switches we need to use the mode button on the switch to get into the rommon mode.
