How to configure rate limit in catalyst 2960

Hello,

We have Catalyst 2960, we must limit the input output interfaces at a constant rate (eg 40Mb / s). rate-limit function is not currently supported, is what you intend to change the ios for the function is supported?

if not, how I can do to meet this need?

by using QoS you can limit outbound

This example shows how to limit the bandwidth on a port to 80 percent:

Switch(config)# interface gigabitethernet0/1

Switch(config-if)# srr-queue bandwidth limit 80

I'm afraid nothing can be done for inbound
