Additional Codec for Hi-Speed Aux input

WIll the addition of a secondary codec to a CTS-1000 (same as is used for CTS 3000) automatically enable me to send 30fps over Aux connection?

Is there a special piece of hardware for this task (like ACU) or is the standard codec correct?

Is there any special configuration (physical or otherwise) I need to do on CTS 1000?

CTS version 1.7.0

CTMS version 1.7.00

Think I may have it, configure via CUCM - Device > CTS-1000 > tick 'Presentation Codec' box.

Just rebooting now....watch this space...

No luck, CTS restarted and tried to update secondary codec, but just showed 'could not retrieve' under system version for presentation codec in the 'Device Info' page.

Anybody offer any suggestions?

Hello Damien

If you don’t have ACU just route Ethernet cable directly between presentation codec and codec. If you do please follow diagram attached. Your error sound like cabling issue so just verify connections. What version of CTS you running?
