Routing between 2 subnets and internet access issue

Hi,

  • ·         We have two networks 192.168.1.0 and 192.168.15.0
  • ·         The gateway (Sonicwall Firewall) IP is 192.168.1.1 (on this firewall we have terminated our internet connection)
  • ·         Currently both networks can access each other, but 192.168.15.0 users can’t access internet.
  • ·         If we set  static routing, then internet starts working on 15.0 network, but then  1.0 network users can’t access 15.0 network machines.
  • ·         RIP is currently disabled.

Also see attached documents.

Please help resolve routing issue.

Thanks in advance!!!

Hi Pankaj

I am not getting that you your request is going to 192.168.1.6 every time for both network

In your senarip simply configure like this :

--- > We have two networks 192.168.1.0 and 192.168.15.0

configure the IP address of firewall on user PC ie :

192.168.1.1    for 192.168.1.0

192.168.15.X  ( the ip that configure on firewall )  for 192.168.15.0

the add default route towards internet gateway i.e. ISP IP  or  the interface that connect to internet.

Configure 2 vlan in linksys then act as default gateway for your LAN,

In sonicwall configure static route to reach vlan 2 IP address
